An amazing journey from start to finish with two highlights that made this experience so incredible. First, the market tour and cooking class was an absolute stand-out. We loved touring the market and then having an authentic culinary experience. Turns out our favorite meal was the one we made ourselves! Our 10-day vacation to Rome, Trastevere, and Sorrento with Celeste Tours was truly the trip of a lifetime! My daughter and I could not have asked for a more beautiful, personalized, and unforgettable experience. From the very beginning, Davide was incredibly accommodating and attentive to all of our needs. Celeste Tours created a completely bespoke experience for our entire trip, and every detail was thoughtfully arranged. The drivers were exceptional, professional, and made traveling throughout our 10 days effortless and enjoyable. Our adventure began with a high-speed train from Rome to Naples, where our wonderful tour guide, Isabella, met us. She gave us a fantastic introduction to Naples and showed us many of the highlights of the city. We enjoyed the famous fried pizza at Da Genero and sampled the delicious sfogliatella before meeting our driver, Gianlucca, who took us to Sorrento. We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Bristol, which had the most captivating views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. It was the perfect home base for our Sorrento adventures. One of our first experiences was a lemon farm tour. We enjoyed an incredible meal and drinks while learning about the farm and the famous lemons of the region. Connie was an amazing guide and made the experience so much fun. And, of course, we can’t forget little Alfredo, the adorable puppy who happily helped give us a tour of the farm! Our wine tour was another unforgettable day. We enjoyed an exceptional meal and wine tasting with the wonderful family who owns the winery. Antonia and her son, Fredric, were so welcoming and accommodating. The entire experience felt incredibly personal and inviting—it was one of the most special days of our trip. Our Capri tour, arranged by Davide, was absolutely spectacular. We spent the day on a private 10-passenger boat, swimming in the crystal-clear Mediterranean, enjoying a light lunch and drinks, and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Seeing the Faraglioni rocks was definitely one of the highlights of the trip, along with all the other incredible sights around Capri. Capri itself was beautiful, and the shopping was magnificent. We even stopped for lunch and had the perfect day on the island. Our visit to Pompeii was equally amazing. Isabella was once again our guide, and she was absolutely fantastic. She brought the ruins to life with her knowledge of the history surrounding the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. We felt like we truly saw and understood every part of Pompeii. The pasta factory experience was another unique highlight. We toured an artisanal pasta factory and enjoyed a wonderful meal prepared by a Michelin-starred chef. We were served three different pasta dishes, dessert, and wine, and we even had the opportunity to purchase pasta from the factory to bring home and enjoy after our vacation. Our final excursion was a snorkeling adventure in the beautiful blue Mediterranean with a marine biologist. We saw beautiful fish, colorful coral, and an incredible underwater world that made for the perfect ending to our trip. Every experience was thoughtfully planned, every guide was wonderful, and every driver made us feel safe and well cared for. Davide and the entire Celeste Tours team went above and beyond to make our vacation truly special. This was the most amazing trip I could have asked for, and I would highly recommend Celeste Tours to anyone looking for a personalized, unforgettable experience in Italy.
